Why do we insist on titanium versus stainless? Stainless is one of the most common materials used and relatively cheap. It exhibits favourable properties for a favourable price. You can find these on OEM rides and plenty of aftermarket producers for rides ranging from Hondas to Exotics.

We choose Titanium as our material of choice as it’s a no brainer for Exotics and Luxury Rides. Titanium simply put provides the best performance characteristics and sound – 40% lighter than stainless resulting in improved power to weight ratio (better handling and acceleration). Strength is another benefit as well as the sound! Less dense than stainless allows titanium to exhibit a more exotic ‘metallic’ sound. If you own an exotic or luxury titanium is what we prefer. The OEM Tips weight results in broken OEM Bumper plastic support tabs and you will need a new bumper costing thousands. You may lose your tips on the road even as the tabs break! The aftermarket Stainless steel units by others are a lot heavier than OEM and will only amplify the problem (see the pictures in the Gallery of broken OEM tabs and the OEM tips hanging on about to fall off a clients car before the upgrade to our Titanium Pieces). With our titanium pieces, due to the extreme light weight, can be easily supported with longer tapping screws that connect to the heat shield bypassing the need to purchase an entire rear bumper costing thousands! So the result is a newer improved look coupled with a fix for the design flaw from the factory using heavy tips resulting in broken plastic support tabs. Its only a matter of time until the plastic tabs break with the OEM tips and/or aftermarket Stainless Steel Pieces.
Each side comprises 19 pieces of Titanium that are painstakingly welded together. Weighing in at just over 2.5 lbs for both sides, this will not only drastically save weight over both OEM and current tips on the market, but also ensure exclusivity by virtue of the limited production number. OEM units and other SS versions weigh 2-3 times as much!
